And, here you go.
After A LOT of prayer, counsel, prayer, prayer, thought, etc, etc, Christi and I have come to the conclusion that we need to stay put in Vajta and keep plugging away here at the Bible College. In our hearts we still very much desire to see the people of Ireland reached and Bible-teaching churches planted on Irish soil. Our hope is that we will be able to have an impact on the country through the ministry and resources here at the school.
So, for now, Ireland is on hold. As much as want to be there and be involved first-hand, we know that staying here in Vajta is the place for us to be. If God wants us in Ireland someday, He'll put us there and make the paths not only clear, but unmistakable.
We want to thank all of you that have been praying alongside of us with this. Not an easy conclusion to reach whatsoever, but we believe God is in it. The timing, for whatever reason, just wasn't quite right.
We will continue to keep you posted - please continue to pray for us here at CCBCE, and keep praying for Ireland! Check the right-hand side of our blog for a bit of what is going on in Ireland!
