June 2008

Here we are again, faced with only so much to write about. But write we must!!! June was a great month in many ways, but also a fairly busy one. As you can see from the picture, I finally finished up my degree from Trinity Biblical University. I was really blessed to have my dad come out and surprise me for the weekend. (Dad: "Where's mom?") It was a quick trip (left on Thursday from Hungary and got back on a plane in Philadelphia on Sunday evening), but it was good to catch up with people and attend the ceremony.

Thanks for all of you that were praying for Ian - he is fine. Still not really sure what the issue was, but his health is back to normal. All the kids have been enjoying splashing around in the pool and swimming up a personal storm. They're all so big!!!! Leah will be seven (SEVEN!!!) in August!

Hoping to travel to Croatia in July to find out anything/everything we can about Jurica and his status for adoption. Don't know what to expect, but we'd love it if you could join us in prayer for him. We simply want God to bless him with a godly Christian home where he can be loved on, have a family, and grow up learning about the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Please also pray for the Ibbotson family (here's their blog) as they prepare to move to Salzburg, Austria this summer.

Please continue to pray for the fellowship of believers in Lahinch, Ireland. I should be taking a trip out there in July and hope to meet up with some of the folks from there at the Missions Conference in Millstatt, Austria in August. Please pray for God's blessing, wisdom, provision, and guidance for all of that!

Please also pray... for Jeremy as he needs to get a new passport (insert a sigh here). It is very important that when you return from a trip that you take your passport OUT of your pocket before you wash that particular article of clothing (another sigh... this one slightly deeper). I'll need to get on that as we have some traveling to do in the near future.

Oh, in case you're wondering, Daisy (our dog) is NOT pregnant.
