FEBRUARY 2008

(California dreamin'...)

March has arrived and with it, tons of sunshine! Actually, that is slightly less than true; we've had a LOT of sunshine in February which is nice.

CCBCE is well underway (we're at the five week point already) and things are going great. We have a lot of new students and they're all really excited about what God is doing in their lives as well as what He has for them in the future.

The kids are doing great, with the exception of little coughs and runny noses and ear aches, and those sorts of things. It all comes with the (winter) territory. Even the VERY mild February hasn't completely held it all at bay.

Speaking of kids and health, please pray for two of the staff families here: the Larson and Chubik families as they've had some pretty serious things with their kids. A couple of overnight visits to the hospital and those sorts of things. There are six kids between the two families, so it is easy for illnesses to be "shared". That always seems to be the one thing kids have no problem sharing.

I'm sure some of you have been wondering about Salzburg, Austria, and what is going on in Ireland. There is a family moving to Salzburg to see if God would have them start a church there - they are planning on reaching out to the youth of that city and will try to start a Bible study. Keep them in your prayers. For Ireland, nothing new from our end. I hope to take a trip out there sometime this year (ideally to Lahinch), but we'll have to see what happens with that - feel free to pray for God's guidance and provision for that one.

Jurica: same thing - nothing new. We're praying for him and hoping to get answers but it is hard to do so (to get answers - the praying part is pretty easy... the kids always remind us!). Please keep him in your prayers and us as well - we'd just love to find out what can be done for him and what our part might be in his life.

All in all, things are well. Thanks so much for praying for us and for the ministry here. It is appreciated.

Feel free to stay in touch and we'll talk to you later!

Lots of love,

Jeremy & Christi and the kids
